Superstition Mountain is a private Golf and Country Club for members and their guests only. It is our pleasure to welcome guests of members to Superstition Mountain Golf and Country Club! To ensure an enjoyable visit, we ask that you read and review the Club's policies upon your arrival.Upon arrival please drop your bag in the Valet area at the Clubhouse entrance. Player Services will happy to bring your bag down to the staging area. Proceed to the Golf Shop to check in and let our staff know your bag is in the Valet area.
We ask our guests to avoid changing shoes or clothes in the parking lot. Our locker room staff will be happy to assign you a complimentary locker for your use throughout the day.
Guests are requested to observe the following rules:
- Mobile Devices must be set to “vibrate” or silent while on Club property. Making or receiving calls is limited to designated telephone rooms located in the restaurant and locker rooms.
- Gentlemen’s Golf Attire: Shirt with collar and sleeves, slacks, Bermuda-length shorts. Shirts must be tucked in.
- Ladies’ Golf Attire: Dresses, skirts, slacks, mid-thigh length shorts, blouses, collarless shirts with sleeves, or sleeveless shirts with collars are considered appropriate attire. Top does not need to be tucked
- All headwear must be front-facing.
- Appropriate golf shoes are required for all golfers. No traditional metal spikes.
This Dress Code is mandatory for all players. Improperly dressed golfers will be asked to change before playing. If you are in doubt concerning your attire please click here to review the rules or check with the Golf Shop before starting play.
It is expected that Members and their guests will choose to dress in a fashion befitting the surroundings and atmosphere provided in the Club.
Men: Shirt with collar and sleeves (mock collars included), slacks, Bermuda-length shorts. Denim is permitted in the dining room, bar and patio at all times, but we ask that you dress it up, not down (no holes, rips or tears; no cut-offs; must be worn at the waist). Tank tops, sweat pants, warm-up suits, swimwear, short shorts, ripped/tattered clothing, gym shorts, tennis attire or other athletic shorts are not permitted. All headwear must be front-facing.
Women: Dresses, skirts, slacks, mid-thigh length shorts, blouses and shirts are considered appropriate attire. Denim is permitted in the dining room, bar and patio at all times, but we ask that you dress it up, not down (no holes, rips or tears; no cut-offs). Mesh shirts, sweat pants, warm-up suits, swimwear, short shorts, ripped/tattered clothing, gym shorts, tennis attire or other athletic shorts are not permitted. All headwear must be front-facing.
- Men are to remove their headwear when seated in the Main Dining Room. Men may keep their headwear on while seated in the Bar and on the Patios.
- During posted dinner hours, graphic tee shirts are not permitted in the Main Dining Room. Graphic tees of an offensive nature are not permitted anywhere on club property at any time.
- Shirts and footwear are required at all times while on Club property, with the exception of the swimming pool area.
- Gentlemen and Ladies are requested to dress in a fashion compatible with the occasion.
- It is not appropriate for Members or their guests to change shoes or clothing in the Club and Sports Club parking lots. Please utilize the locker rooms for this purpose.
- Club Management reserves the right to determine if attire is appropriate in any given situation.
GOLF ATTIRE (APPLIES TO GOLF COURSES AND PRACTICE FACILITIES)
Proper Golf attire is described as follows:
Men: Shirt with collar and sleeves (mock collars included), slacks, Bermuda-length shorts. Shirts must be tucked in, unless designed specifically to be untucked (e.g. Tommy Bahama, Untuckit brand, other fashion-forward manufacturers). Fashions seen on the PGA tour are also acceptable. Tank tops, sport tee-shirts, sweat pants, warm-up suits, swimwear, short shorts, cut-offs, denim, gym shorts, tennis attire or other athletic shorts are not permitted. All headwear must be front-facing.
Women: Dresses, skirts, slacks, shorts of reasonable length, blouses, collarless shirts with sleeves, or sleeveless shirts with collars are considered appropriate attire (top does not need to be tucked). Fashions seen on the LPGA tour are also acceptable. Halter tops, tank tops, sport tee-shirts, mesh shirts, sweat pants, warm-up suits, swimwear, short shorts, cut-offs, denim, gym shorts, tennis attire or other athletic shorts are not permit-ted. All headwear must be front-facing.
Shoes: Appropriate golf shoes are required for all golfers. Football, soccer or other large knobby spike shoes, non-golf specific sandals or flip flops are not allowed. Tennis shoes or other soft sole shoes are subject to the approval of the golf professional on duty. Use of traditional metal spikes is not permitted.

SPORTS CLUB, BASKETBALL & TENNIS ATTIRE
- Casual workout attire in good taste is acceptable at the Health and Fitness facility such as tee-shirts, tank tops, gym shorts or warm-up pants for men; and leotards, tights, tee-shirts, tank tops, gym shorts or warm-up pants for women. Only aerobic or court shoes may be worn.
- Shirts must be worn on the Basketball court at all times; tanks and tee-shirts are acceptable. Appropriate sport shoes must be worn on the court. Sandals and flip flops are unacceptable
- Proper Tennis attire is required at all times. Colors are permitted, but tee-shirts with graphic designs, under-shirts, mesh shirts, cut-offs, denim of any color, and bathing suits are not permitted. Regulation tennis shoes are required.
SWIM ATTIRE
- All Swimmers must wear bona-fide swimming attire. Cut-offs, dungarees and Bermuda shorts are not consid-ered appropriate swimwear.
- Children wearing traditional diapers are not allowed in either pool. However, “swimming pool diapers” are permitted in the children’s pool only.
- Members and guests utilizing the swimming pool are not permitted to dress or undress on the pool deck, grass areas, or in the parking lot. Locker rooms and restrooms are provided near the pool to change clothing.

Superstition Mountain does allow tipping of the Locker Room, Player Services and Restaurant staff and it is most appreciated. Player Services (including Valet and the staff who load and clean clubs) work for tips, but pool them together.
In the Restaurant, there is an automatic 18% gratuity added to the ticket. There is a line on the ticket for you to add additional gratuity, if you wish.
