2023.2.3 - LPGA Update

LPGA Drive On Championship Update: We are working with the LPGA to finalize the logistics of the Drive On Championship we are hosting March 20th through 26th.

  • We are still working on finalizing spectator parking and traffic control. We have had questions on spectators driving into the community. I can assure you all that no spectator traffic will be permitted on property. All spectators will be parked remotely and bussed to a drop-off point inside the gates. Members, residents, and residents’ guests and contractors will have use of the gate for entering and leaving the property as normal. The only additional traffic into the community is planned for players, caddies, media and LPGA credentialed officials. Once we have the final traffic planning complete, we will be meeting with the HOA and the Gatehouse to be sure we are all on the same page. The safety and security of our community is paramount in our planning.
  • Spectators are not permitted in the gates on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday the week of the event. Wednesday is the Pro-am tournament, and Pro-am players will be permitted a limited number of guests. Only members and residents will be allowed on Club property on Monday through Wednesday.
  • Prospector course will close on Sunday March 19 th for preparations for the event and reopen on Monday, March 27th for member play. We will have Lost Gold open for the entire tournament week with some limited cart availability. Matt Brooks will be reaching out with information on starting times and check-in process for the week as we get closer.
  • The Clubhouse will be closed for member access beginning Sunday, March 19 th through Sunday March 26th . This includes Locker Rooms and Dining Rooms. The Golf Shop will be the only area inside the Clubhouse open to members and spectators. All other areas of the Clubhouse will be inaccessible to members. There will be a Member Hospitality area located in the patio area of the Clubhouse hosted by the Club for the week. You will need your tournament credentials to access the Member hospitality area. Guest use of Member Hospitality may be restricted depending on use. Our goal is to provide you and your accompanied guests a place that is all your own. We will get details to you on the Hospitality area as soon as plans are finalized. We are also planning some member activities for the tournament week. Stay tuned!
Please watch for future In the Loop messages for more information as we get closer to the event.
